50mm Lenses R' Us
Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:14PM Someone got a new lens. It's a secret. He's brown, and his name starts with an "R" and ends in "-yan."
I'll give you another hint. It's me! Weeeeee.
After some parts lens envy, and equal parts heavy deliberation, I chose to get the Zeiss 50mm f1.4. I went out for a few minutes to take it for a quick spin. Boy, it is de-ricious!
Here's a random slow shutter photo and a nice little video of my dear roommate Shuo as I ran into him on his way back from work.
I'm excited.

who is that stunningly handsome individual in your video? he must be a model of some sort.. especially to be premiered in a video of such high quality... that person behind the camera must be pretty professional... with a professional site.. with loads of his own work on there....
