Ralph & Me

As my dear friend Vincent has kindly pointed out, I have a serious lack of my own new work on this here blog/site. That'll change in the next month or so, but until then, I couldn't resist showing the finished Ralph Lauren video I was AC-ing on. T'was fashion week over here in NYC, which means runway shows, clothing, mayhem, gorgeous women, and crazy people.

Also, go to the Ralph Lauren website if you want to see the actual runway show and a whole other gaggle of goodies!

Oh, and here are some behind-the-scene slices just for you:

NICE!

Working behind the scenes, did you ever get a sense of the "movie" RL was creating? I had never thought of a fashion show as a movie, with scenes, and models as actors (maybe that contributes to their decision to cross over ever so often).

Anywho ... SEXY JOB!

Whats the next gig?

Did you talk to Valentina?

Very insightful Chase.

Also, I love me some Jother comments. I have to say, I'm on and off about the "movie" Ralph (yeap we're on a first name basis now) says he creates. I definitely got the feeling that it was a story being told, as opposed to just pretty ladies in pretty clothing, but that's where I think the comparison stops. Next gig is just a smattering of other misc stuff and working on those apps! The next couple of months are going to be a doozy.

Keep those comments coming. I love 'em. Even you Chase.

Oh and I believe I exchanged eye contact and head "what's up" bobs with Valentina. You know my style...

a smooth style indeed Ryan... i believe that's the method you used to swindle your way into my life

w00t.. thanks for the shout Ry-dog, but I wanna see some results first!!.. btw.. sickk video and pictures. do me a favor and give Valentina my phone number so she can spit on it and i can say "hey.. Valentina spit on MY phone number".. weird i know.. but i digress

I'm really gllad to see you doing some big things there in NY.. contrary my departure words.

P.S. that "one thing" you're talkin about.... you mean the "video" you "produced" saying it was for your "work".... right?

P.S.S.... no one has friend requested me on my facebook yet through the blog association.... get your act together Ryan and get some damn celebrities to start facebooking me

Haha I digress dear sir. Dare I say you made me laugh out loud? I dare.

Also, give it a day or two and I think you might see a change in your facebook friending world. Can you say "Ray LaMontagne"?

September 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterRyan
