Casting: The Job
Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 5:59PM Quick update: Just had the first casting session for a short film I'll be directing in April tentatively called The Job. It's a great script about a Type A movie theater assistant manager going off the deep end when she doesn't get promoted (written extremely well by the lovely Nikkia Moulterie). It's actually a shorter form of a feature length script. We're going to pump it to festivals and producers to try to get that feature made. Ya boy.
A couple of pics. Hollerations:
Casting Location #1. How awesome are these posters?
Producers producing as Katharine Hepburn looks on. Tory isn't impressed.
When we got displaced from Location #1, this became our casting hub. Not a bad backup...
I'll have an update with some more fun stuff about the other short "Red Onion" as it progresses in the edit.
Life is good.
