Pro Tools 8 Videos = Delicious

So I know this is old news, but I was poking around the Digidesign website and noticed the vid I made announcing the release of Pro Tools 8 way back when is still being used on the main page of their site. Hollerations.

Pro Tools All Up In Yo Face!

For those of you who don't know what Pro Tools is, it's the industry standard in the audio world for recording and editing in music production, film scoring, film and television post production. Pretty much anything you've heard on the radio or in film = Pro Tools. It's like Photoshop for audio people. Ya dig?

Ok. Good stuff. I also have an update about a short film I'm directing this weekend coming around the bend.

Kool Shen "C'est Bouillant" Music Vid

Today I started a week long gig assisting director Arthur Boujenah on the music video for french rap pioneers Kool Shen and Salif. Right now, we're in the pre-production phase for their song C'est Bouillant so it's just a lot of crazy work that you don't think about when actually watching the finished video. The production company behind the video (and the company I'm technically working for) is VicArt Entertainment.

In any case, we started early in the morning by heading over to Jersey with the DP Scott Beardslee (a great, talented guy) to check out Rollercoaster Studios. After we got back, I did some wild casting out on the SoHo streets of Manhattan. Pretty fun stuff. More craziness to ensue tomorrow.

Also, little known fact: roughly half of all women in SoHo are in fact models, such as this successful street casting below.
